All About a Dave!™
So just what the hell is this all about??
(Hint: It's about website design and fixing computers and stuff
with the occasional bit of training thrown in!)
Oh! And in case you're wondering, I'm in Portlaoise, Co. Laois, Ireland.
will usually reach me!
This bit’s like one of those user agreements that no one
reads…
I will happily share all my life’s ups and downs with anyone who will listen and feed me peanuts and wine. Not necessarily in that order, and with the occasional bit of cheese and bruschetta thrown in, but suffice it to say that my philosophy on life really amounts to something along the lines of ‘Born, “What the f**k was that?”, Death’.
So for the middle bit it’s my intention to live as best I can and utterly enjoy everything I come across… Bit like a puppy really…
An aside: I’m really happy at the moment! I’ve found out that the Spanish for raccoon is “mapache”, and “mapache peludo” means “furry racoon” – just like me!

Interesting Stuff…
As the site grows, I’ll add in things to do with history and other scraps of stuff I’m interested in. Hope you will be as well…
Useful Stuff…
Ditto the history bits. I think I’ll have to do this on a separate page ultimately, but visit the Links page to see what there is…
Not Decided…
I’m mulling over the possibility of having a blog here. WordPress is great for this kind of thing. But the spam… oh the spam…
Collaboration
Anyone have any good ideas on interesting things to do? Get in touch. If I’m not busy applying beard colouring I’d love to help…
Quote of the Month…
“If a dog will not come to you after having looked you in the face, you should go home and examine your conscience.”
Woodrow Wilson
“To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.”
Bruce Lee
…and because I missed a (few) months:
Laughter…
Oscar Wilde (of course)…
“Laughter is not at all a bad beginning for a friendship, and it is far the best ending for one.”
And one just for my Linux friends…
